It is a chilled white ball. Eight white balls and Muscat are attached. While melting the ice, dilute the syrup. It's very delicious!
MoreIt's all true! Matcha Bavarois is sublime.Well worth a 40 minute metro ride to visit. The shop is beautiful and the staff very hospitable. Was a queue on Sunday afternoon but waiting time isn't too long. Thank you!
MorePlaying hooky to eat here..
As expected, Kagurazaka. Luxury cityscape. The store may be a long-established store, but I couldn't train the staff. The price is high at Kagurazaka price. The clerk is a junior, even though he is expensive. It's a pity that it's delicious such as anmitsu.I don't even know if I'm just cross-legged in a place.
MoreI like canned beans. It's the best Golden Triangle that combines black peas with succulent red peas and juicy Amakusa agar. I made bean paste, so I wanted to enjoy just the bean paste, so I chose another plate. The sweetness is not so conservative, but the body is healed with a gentle, smooth sweetness bean paste.Matcha Bavaroa is popular. Unlike the matcha sweets that are deceived by their sweetness, the bitterness and sweetness of matcha is a perfect balance. The sweetness is not so conservative, and the fresh cream combined with the fresh bean jam is delicious.I always wonder which one to eat (laughs)
MoreThere will be a long queue. But worth the wait for a taste of traditional Japanese sweets.I had the matcha Bavaria. Delicious green tea thick pudding, dollop of fresh cream and smashed red bean.Comes with green tea and a couple of savoury crackers :)Although, you’ll have to get there early for a seat! Or you can take out. Prices are from 650¥ -1200¥Enjoy!
MoreNo more words. It’s yummm 🤤 (but for those who something sweet. This might not your cup of tea. For me, it’s perfect 💯 🤤NoteThis menu was in Netflix Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salarymen
MoreThe ozoni was about 900 yen. The rice cake was very small and had quail eggs and kamaboko. It might be good to eat it as a snack. It's quite unsatisfactory to eat for lunch, and the price is high (it's hard to find a place). You can use electronic money.
MoreSpeaking of summer, shaved ice.I ordered a standard matcha and strawberry.Matcha is sweet and rich with azuki and syrup, and this is shaved ice! It is a feeling.Strawberries have a low sweetness and you can enjoy them while tasting the pulp a little. Both of them had fluffy ice and I wanted to repeat them.
MoreThe matcha items are very rich and the entire dish tends to be pretty balanced. But on the pricey side, and everyone has to order something from the menu. Take-out is possible.
MoreKantaro brought me here and I couldn’t be happier. The Matcha Bavarois lives up to the expectation 100%.
MoreThis confectionary cafe is most famous for Matcha Bavarois (Green tea pudding). Usually there is a line in fron the store but it is also available for take-away. There is a second floor for sitting and also a room with traditional Japanese floor sitting.
MoreCame here on a Tuesday at 2:30pm and my party of 2 was seated immediately. We ordered a Matcha Bavarian Cream and the Ujicha? Matcha? shaved ice (no red beans). The Matcha Bavarian Cream was incredibly well balanced. The matcha pudding was very bitter, but when eaten together with the sweet red bean paste and thick whipped cream, the bitterness goes unnoticed and the strong matcha flavor is brought out.The shaved ice was also very delicious for how simple it was, just green tea syrup and some shirotama (rice dumplings). The syrup was not too sweet or too bitter, and there was a good balance of syrup to ice. It was also very refreshing on a hot day after having walked in the sun for so long. One of the best dessert places we visited during our visit to Japan. I learned about it from the Netflix show, "Kantaro: Sweet Tooth Salaryman", which is a silly show albeit with great recommendations for Tokyo sweets shops.
MoreThe place is very cute, and the staff is extremely friendly. Ordered the Matcha Bavarian Cream and it was very delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
MoreTasty
Though there was a wait when I got there on a Sunday afternoon, the line moved really fast and customers got seated when they're waiting. I ordered the matcha kakigori and it was the best choice for a hot weekend afternoon. They also service each selection with a cup of green tea and it gets refilled.
MoreI always order matcha bavarois at takeout. The cream will harden because it's too cold, but the grain anx and cream are put on top of the matcha bavarois to make it delicious. Enough volume to eat alone.
MoreFamous shop with traditional dessert sumilar to parfaits. Maybe a little crowded
The atmosphere is a very sweet place! The matcha bavarois and cream anmitsu are excellent!
MoreDefinitely delicious. The hall staff are also attentive and comfortable.
Traditional Japanese sweets shop known for their matcha pavlova. It has two floors for dine -in customers, but you can also buy takeout. Sadly, their menu doesn’t come with photos so make sure to check the display outside before coming in!
MoreThe service was good. Unlimited matcha. Deserts were ok, not so sweet.
*Uji kintoki(shaved ice w red bean paste & Matchs Syrup.)love this! mochi on the side is exclusive; I wonder how it doesn't get hardened while being chilled on the ice. really chewy! One thing; the portion is no joke. I guess it's for 2 ppl. *misecellaneousa little antique shop at the side of the chill street! Chill atmosphere. green tea and little Japanese snack are served for free, and friendly workers keep refilling the tea. the store is just our there if you come out from Iidabashi station's B3 gate. take away available.
MoreA store selling Japanese sweets. Expect queues !
Eat in / take away both available. Maccha babaroi is incredible.
The duck zousui and matcha bavarois were both heavenly!
I was coming to the store alone. Shop correspondence is normal. We had green tea Bavarian cream. Tax is a thousand yen a little less than. We feel that by reducing the taste of a certain famous green tea ice cream. Bitter taste does not looks better grain sauce and whipped cream that is served so weak. The amount There were fine. Well if 700 yen, you may think me. I do not think that the line up.
MoreIf you like Japanese desserts, you cannot miss out on this place. It’s absolutely a must try. My favorite was the matcha bravaria. The flavors of the matcha with the sweet red bean paste mixed with cream is JUST spot on. I kind of regret not going there again, but hopefully next time.
MoreGreat slection of sweets
The taste that has been loved for a long time, the honey here is really delicious. Good sweetness is not too sweet. This time, I ate Togama rice. Surprisingly full of fine chicken. It takes 20 minutes to complete, but you have to wait. The scorch is also delicious.
More抹茶ババロアでここの右に出る店はないですね。最強に美味しいです。お値段がリーズナブルだとなお良いですが。
MoreLong queue on the day I went. It was weekend. But we managed to pick few flavours and took to nearest park for quick taste. Nice desserts. Love all the choices I've picked. Especially the salty dessert with wasabi. Special and well worth!
MoreThe ring decoration is simple, with two floorsCatch up and get free hot tea and senbeiMatcha tea is very rich in flavor, red bean paste with the original sweetness of red beans, sweetness is just right, people who do not like sugar can try, cream Huashun is not greasy (but personally feels like margarine)
MoreOrthodox sweets shop! Therefore, the age group of our customers is rather high. However, there are regular male customers, and I feel that it's a store that is loved.Shiratama anmitsu has a large amount and is highly satisfied.Nice service with pork rice crackersShiratama anmitsu seems to be the most popular, and it came out immediately after orderingI also wanted to eat other Japanese sweets
MoreHad the matcha Bavarian cream and it was very delicious. Just as an FYI, If you have multiple people in your group, each one must order an item.
MoreDelicious!!
It was delicious 😁 The trendy shaved ice was good, but it was good at a reasonable price and amount‼ ️
MoreGreen tea Bavarois was creamy and full of matcha flavor, accompanied with a well balanced sweetness of red bean paste and creamy whipped cream. Delicious! However, I find the Bavarois can be made more melt in the mouth texture if the amount of gelatine is reduced.
MoreVisited this place in February 2017 but still want to leave a review after 2 years. The matcha bavaroise provided a perfect balance between mtacha, cream and red bean.
MoreIntroduced by Japanese opera. Very creamy dessert. Sweet red beans with tender texture. Every item has its own taste and texture and they mix up as a great symphony. A must taste in Tokyo if one likes sweets.
MoreA very historical sweets shop with a modern twist. We have tried their famous Matcha Bavarois, and was not disappointed. The person that have created the dessert definitely understands textures and balance of flavors. It’s the combination of the whipped cream, sweet beans and the Bavarian cream. The Bavarian cream is infused intelligently with the matcha without taking the tea to higher temperatures, resulting in a non bitter deliciousness. The service staff was extremely professional and it was a nice surprise to see an English menu as well. Everyone in the party will need to order a meal or dessert in case you re planning to share one dessert. The dessert comes with unlimited warm tea which is also nice. Take out for the desserts is also possible.
MoreAs featured on episode 6 of Kantaro the sweet tooth salaryman (on netflix) both the Bavarian Matcha Cream ¥874 and kutsu mochi (くずもち) ¥777 are excellent. Mochi was harder at this time of writing, probably its the winter, of course the cream doesn't melt too fast too. An excellent recommend! So good that pictures I had were half eaten.
MoreWonderful traditional Japanese sweets. A must for all of those interested in Japanese culture and trying a taste of local food.
MoreI think the anmitsu here is the best because it has no sticky sweetness and the bean paste is moist. I have been favoring for a long time.
MoreThe shaved ice is delicious, the ice is soft and the best, and the menu is delicious. Please try it once.
MoreHands down the best Japanese traditional dessert I ve ever had... The Matcha Bavarian Cream is a must have. The flavours are beautifully brought together and well balanced. You will not be disappointed. Depending upon the time of the day there may be a wait time, but I promise you it's worth it.
MoreI came here because of Kantaro-san in the popular Netflix show. It's WORTH THE HYPE because the service is good, the food is fantastic and it's such an authentic Japanese experience. There's a minimum order of 1 dish per person. If you can't read Japanese, take a photo of the food you want to eat from the display outside the shop and show it to the waitress.
More✔️ Matched Shaved Ice (Korianz, 氷あんず) recommended!✔️ The red beans are not too sweet and just delicious
